Background

Hopkins Homes have prepared a draft Masterplan for Land North of Maldon Road, Great Baddow. This has followed a number of years of technical work, and discussions with Chelmsford City Council and other stakeholder groups. This draft Masterplan is published for public consultation, and comments received at this stage will be used to inform the final version to be approved by Chelmsford City Council.

The site has been allocated in Chelmsford Local Plan under site allocation: 3A, having been identified as being a sustainable location for new development. The allocation includes a country park for existing and new residents to enjoy.
