Welcome to the Hopkins Homes’ proposals for Sandford Park, Great Baddow.

 

Hopkins Homes has submitted a detailed hybrid application to Chelmsford City Council for 360 new homes and a country park on land north of Maldon Road, Sandford Park, Great Baddow as well as access via a five-arm roundabout junction on Maldon Road (planning application reference number: 22/01732/FUL).

The submission of the application follows extensive public consultation on the site’s Masterplan in 2021, which was approved in November 2021.

The proposals will deliver 360 new homes, including 126 affordable homes and 18 self-build lots as well as a country park including play areas, a well-connected road layout and enhanced pedestrian and cycle links to the wider area.
